Andres is a graduate from Carleton School of Architecture (B.Arch. Studies 2009) Ottawa, Canada. In summer of 2010, he interned at Bureau E.A.S.T. under Takako Tajima and Aziza Chaouni, in Fez, Morocco. Here, he was involved in an international competition for Chwitter, Marrakech, were the team eventually placed third. Andres has also worked at Carleton Immersive Media Studio (2007), a digital architecture research lab, under the supervision of Michael Jemtrud.
Andres’ current academic research lies in the correlation of built architecture and renewable resources. As a research consultant, Andres has taken his interest and applied them with current works for Foghorn Renewable Energy. Hence, finding ways to synthesize architecture with green technologies and implementing these to Latin
American architecture is Andres’ personal long term pursuit. Andres is also a current candidate for a Master in Architecture from the Daniels Faculty of Architecture and Landscape, at the University of Toronto, Canada.
